MediHerb Curcuma Forte & PEA contains a unique proprietary combination of curcumin and fenugreek galactomannans for enhanced bioavailability. Curcumin is an antioxidant, while PEA provides additional anti-inflammatory and analgesic activity. PEA is a naturally occurring fatty acid amide which affects endocannabinoid signalling. PEA achieves its analgesic effects via indirect activation of the cannabinoid 1 (CB1) and cannabinoid 2 (CB2) receptors; as well as indirect activation of PPAR-alpha, and several other receptors.
